Regions Bank, whose home state has been raked by tornadoes, has contributed $1 million to relief efforts in the Southeast. In addition, all Regions’ branches are accepting donations for the American Red Cross’ Tornado Disaster Relief Fund. Regions has 81 South Florida branches and ranks seventh in the region with $4.79 billion in deposits. Regions (NYSE: RF), which is headquartered in Birmingham, said it is also providing assistance to customers and businesses in storm-affected areas.
